A1 Auto Rental accepts both credit and debit cards as payment methods for your reservation. However, most car rental suppliers require a valid credit card in the primary drivers name in order to pick up a rental vehicle. In the event you do not have a credit card the rental would be treated as a cash rental.

Like all car rental companies, A1 Auto Rental cannot guarantee the make or model of the rental vehicle you will receive; what can be guaranteed is a vehicle of equal standing with the same transmission and size. If you would like a specific make or model we will be more the happy to request it for you.

We offer Collision Damage Waiver insurance. If additional information is required at this point we strongly suggest you visit any general detailed insurance information page offered in Grenada as insurance coverage is different from country to country.

If you select a basic rental rate your price will include the cost of rental only. If the inclusive rate is selected it will include everything in the basic rate plus value added tax (VAT) and collision damage waiver (CDW) for the rental vehicle.

A1 Auto Rental gladly accepts Mastercard and Visa cards as well as Cash and Business Checks. At this time, we would like to advise that personal checks are not accepted.

All rates are guaranteed in US Dollars and for most reservations we only require an email or telephone request.

There is no way to confirm reservation with payments prior to pick-up. Once reservations are made via email or calling us at 1-473-417-1035, one of our agents will confirm your reservations.

Most A1 Auto Rental reservations are confirmed within 10 minutes after receiving your request. If making a last minute reservation (pick up within the next 24 hours) we strongly suggest you contact our reservations center at 1-473-417-1035.

There is no fee to change a car rental booking provided that you contact A1 Auto Rental before the end of the rental period. Changing a reservation may subject you to the current rental rate, as it is at the time of modification.

One of the many great things about A1 Auto Rental is our rental rates and services are guaranteed to be the very best in the industry. If you come across a lower price from a competitor and the rate is on a comparable vehicle including the same terms, services and rental fees, we will be glad to match the price for you. Note: Evidence required.

So long as a cancellation is made at least 48 hours before your reserved pick up date and time, A1 Auto Rental will process your cancellation at no cost. A fee of $75 will apply to any cancellations made in less than 48 hours notice. Bookings are non-refundable if no notice of cancellation is given until after the reserved pick up date/time.

To pick up your rental you will need a valid driver’s license, credit card (Mastercard or Visa) or cash.

It is strongly recommended if you are planning to travel to Grenada from within the region and internationally, all drivers should carry their driver license/permit.

All International Drivers are required to purchase a Temporary Driver’s License. A Temporary Driver’s License will be issued by A1 Auto Rental at a cost of $24.00, upon collections of the rental. All temporary driver’s licenses are valid for a period of 3 months.

CARICOM drivers are permitted by law to drive on their home country’s driver’s license for a period of 6 months.

Person’s with a driver’s license issued by a OECS countries are allowed to drive with their countries drivers license indefinitely, unless otherwise changed by law.

A1 Auto Rental is located on Grand Anse Main Road. At time of pick-up the name of the representative and pick-up location will be communicated via email.

A1 Auto Rental’s telephone number and email address are provided on our website and social media platforms, if you should need assistance before/after departure. Please take note that Emergency roadside assistance numbers will be provided locally by the representative.
